NNA - Melkite Catholic Patriarch Gregory Lahham condemned in a statement on Friday the fresh killing of former Minister Mohammad Shatah, who was targeted earlier today in Beirut in a deadly blast.



The explosion left at least six martyrs and more than 75 injured.



"Each drop of blood is a national and humanitarian loss," the prelate said.


"The exceptional and critical juncture Lebanon and the region are passing through requires more solidarity and unity," he added, calling for national reconciliation.
