NNA - The Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIABML) launched on Thursday "Lebanon Week in Jeddah" exhibition during a press conference at the Chamber's headquarters, in presence of Lebanese Tourism, Industry and Economy caretaker Ministers and other concerned senior officials.

The exhibition displays Lebanese trade, agricultural, industrial products as well as services.

CCIAMBL said that this event, to be held for the first time in KSA between 5 and 9 April 2014, seeks bolstering the economic ties, the trade relations and cooperation agreements between the countries and their businessmen.

Caretaker Tousrim Minister, Fadi Abboud, put emphasis on the importance of the Lebanese-Saudi economic ties and ruled out all rumors diffuse on the hard national economic situation in Lebanon.

He underscored the ongoing positive results Lebanon's economy was achieving, calling on the Gulf countries to reconsider their decision to ban their nationals from coming to Lebanon.

As for his part, caretaker Industry Minister Vrej Sabounjian hailed this exhibition, affirming that the Ministry will seek ensuring a massive participation to guarantee the success of this project.

Caretaker Minister of Economy, Nicolas Nahhas, said that the "Lebanon Week in Jeddah" will give a positive and serious sign that the Lebanese-Saudi ties go beyond political crises.
