NNA - 22/10/2012 - Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Marwan Charbel, met at his office in the Ministry with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Patrick Paoli. Discussions reportedly featured high on general situation in the region and security conditions in Lebanon, with special emphasis on the explosion in Achrafieh.
They also discussed means of cooperation in preparation for a training program for Municipalities' Councils and employees in the Ministry to keep them abreast with administrative development in the municipal-developmental field in light of a system based on decentralized administration.
In turn, Charbel expressed during the meeting "his readiness to cooperate with France for the success of this project".
