NNA - Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, hoped that EU had more thoroughly read data and facts relevant to Hezbollah before taking the decision to internationally blacklist said party as a terrorist organization.

A decision was issued Monday by foreign ministers of EU countries enlisting what they called "the military wing of Hezbollah" as a terrorist group.

"The Lebanese society, in all its constituents, is keen on committing to international legitimacy and preserving best relations with EU countries. We will follow up on this subject [blacklisting Hezbollah] via diplomatic channels, hoping that EU countries had thoroughly read facts and data in this concern," said Mikati.
