NNA - Union Coordination Committee (UCC) called for a general strike on the first day of holding Cabinet session after New Year, in all public departments and ministries in addition to public and private schools.



UCC held a meeting on Friday afternoon at Public Secondary Education Teachers' League headquarters.



UCC also announced the carrying out of demonstrations towards the government Serails in the capital and regions, coinciding with strike date.



UCC extended warmest well-wishes to all the Lebanese on the occasion of the festive season and the New Year, hoping that this holiday would bring about further unity, stability, security and civil peace.
