NNA - PM Najib Mikati hoped Wednesday the US administration would help support Lebanon's sovereignty and independence and boost bilateral relations, in order for the Lebanese army to hold sway over all Lebanese territories.



Mikati congratulated US President, Barrack Obama, on being reelected for a new presidential period.



Separately, Mikati received at the Grand Serail today Egypt's Foreign Minister, Muhammad Kamal Amro, and reviewed with him bilateral ties.


Amongst Grand Serail's visitors had been Telecommunications Minister, Nicholas Sahnawi; the Italian Deputy Foreign Minister, Staffan De Mistura, who expressed Italy's support for Lakhdar Brahimi's mission to stop violence in Syria and people's suffer; and others.
